Sam Latta has been married 51 years, and is the father of four children. He started preaching when he was 15 years old. He is a graduate of Apostolic Bible Institute, St. Paul Minnesota, class of 1957, holding Bachelor of Theology, Master of Arts and Doctor of Theology Degrees.

     He has started many churches, and built 13 physical buildings, His pastorates include Moline, Illinois, Bloomington, Illinois, and Atlanta, Georgia.

     He has spent 19 years as a missionary to Africa, laboring in Liberia and Zimbabwe. Bro. Latta has traveled world-wide, ministering in Evangelism and Leadership Seminars for the United Pentecostal Church International Foreign Missions Department.

     Bro. Sam and Sis. Latta have retired from the world-wide missionary evanglism to accept the pastorship of Acts Church of Henry County.  God's hand has been in bringing this about and the Lattas ask for your continued prayers and support.
